Not a resort, not a retreat. A quiet piece of land the family has kept for four hundred years — now opened to a small number of guests who want to live closer to the earth, the sea, and each other for a while.
Coconut palms older than any of us. Wide lawns that hold the heat gently. Long paths that lose themselves between the trees. The mountain sits behind you, the sea sits ahead, and the garden does the rest.
A working kitchen garden, fruit trees, herbs, and a small animal farm — chickens, goats, and horses moving through the day at their own pace. Meals will be shaped by what the land offers that morning, and by what the fishermen bring in from the shore.
A thatched, open-sided shala under the trees — already alive with sunrise practice, breathwork, and the low ring of singing bowls at dusk. Around it, in time, a wellness garden will grow: sauna, steam, cold plunge, and slow corners for the body to come back to itself.
The people around this land are part of what makes it feel like home — the fishermen at dawn, the aunties at the market, the neighbours who have lived here for generations. What we are building is less a resort than a village: a small circle of guests, staff, and Koh Samui itself, sharing the same table.
Four hundred years of family land in the quiet north of the island — coconut, fruit trees, wide lawns, and long paths that pass behind the houses rather than between them. The sea is a barefoot walk away. Everything else is birds, breeze, and the sound of water somewhere behind the leaves.
You could spend a week here without crossing the same path twice.
A short barefoot walk through the palms brings you to a quiet stretch of shore. Nikki Beach, for a long lunch or a sunset, is a few minutes down the lane.
Fruit trees, flowering shrubs, and older palms lean in on every side. Behind the land, the green mountain rises and holds the horizon.
The shala is a slow walk away — sunrise flow, evening sound baths, and long quiet mornings you don't have to schedule.
